As the world's largest toy producer and exporter, China has maintained a leading position in the global toy market, establishing a comprehensive toy industry chain. According to data, from January to April 2024, the cumulative export value of the China's toy was 68.72 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 59%. As an export-oriented manufacturing powerhouse, the total import and export value of Ningbo's foreign trade in the first half of 2024 reached 681.14 billion yuan, with an increase of 9.5% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, export value amounted to 445.31 billion yuan, growing by 9.9%. With the increase in export scale at Ningbo Port, numerous local toy trading companies in Ningbo are also intensifying their efforts in building independent brands, integrating cultural heritage into the process of toy design, increasing technological content, and continuously improving product added value, which contributes to the popularity of "Made in Ningbo" products in the international market. At present, the organizing committee plans to set up a special customer invitation group, which will not only invite sellers from offline commodity cities and professional markets, but also famous e-commerce top sellers from Taobao, Pinduoduo, and JD.com. based on cross-border platforms such as Amazon, AliExpress, DHgate.com, Yuguo, onion Global, shopee, eBay, etc., toy selection conferences will be held at the exhibition site to deepen cooperation and exchange.
